Powerchip in it. Had it for 4 years and no complaints. Was interested in your review as just about everything you said about the Wett. chip could apply to the Powerchip. Was thinking about swapping out for the GIAC but just wanted to see if you were still happy, and if you had any thoughts on what could be done with my old chip. Seems a waste to just dump it. As you said, the difference needs to be substantial to warrant the expense.

hi, don't mind me butting in but I had a powerchip in my 1997 A4 went through 3 of them til I ended up on their Gold 98 program and there was definitely a difference but now I have a 2002 A4 and have GIAC in it and it is chalk and cheese, the GIAC really puts you back in the seat and goes ohhh so much faster.
I am sure you should be able to get a ride in a GIAC'd car or maybe even get a eval, contact Euroclass Automotive in Richmond, they will be able to help you.

Yes - still very very happy with Giac and can still strongly reccomend it
Its still the best performing chip I have tried. It costs less than most other chips, is available locally and is tuned for local fuel.
I really do reccomend it most strongly.
As for getting rid of your power chip - your only real option is to try and sell it 2nd hand or see if you can get some $ back for it from power chip themselves.
If you are in Melb. contact Euroclass who normally offer a try before you buy.
