Default RS4 accelerator pedal cover, pain in the @$$

Does anyone have tips on how to install the RS4 pedal covers? particularly the accelerator one? I managed to get the clutch and brake on, but the accel is being quite seditious... I tried a bit of lube, (haha, he said lube!) silicone grease, it helped with the clutch pedal cover, but just can't seem to get that accel cover on....

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

P.S. Also, what is up with the plastic/composite pedals arms for the clutch and accelerator? It' s kinda scary...and cheap, no?

Default just pure force is the way to go.. took me about 30 min to get all 3 on and...

my hands hurt like hell when I was done, but I was able to get them all seated without lube. I only used force and a screwdriver to pry some of the tougher edges around the pedals. The accelerator was a pain though if I remember correctly. Clutch was the worst for me though. Sorry I didnt use any tricks except a flat tip screwdriver

Default why not wrap in a cloth, then put some vice grips on one side, and squeeze with pliers...

on the other. that should snap it on.

Default I take it they are made of a hard semi-rigid rubber...

right? If so soak the pedal cover in hot water for a couple of minutes to make it more pliable. That's what I've done before on previous OEM pedal swaps & it's worked like a charm. Hope this helps.
