just leased a new A4 B7 2.0T ECU flash?
Ended up leasing a red, 2006 A4 Quattro for 1k down, 539/month for 24 months, 15k miles/year, 36k msrp, red w/ black leather, 6speed, sunroof, tech package w/ bluetooth, sport suspension, premium sound, satellite xm radio, cold weather package, and headlight washers. Couldnt really bargain much cause i just graduated from college and had minimal credit. IS this a good deal?
Also since it is a lease will i be able to do a ECU flash on this car without getting into warranty/servicing trouble? And how many miles should be on the car before its ECU is flashed? Right now the car has 9 miles on it.
As for the APR ECU flash and break in...
Yes, 1000 miles is recommended for proper break in before using wide open throttle. Flashing the ECU prior won't matter as long as you don't BEAT it during the break in period
Or, is it just you unflash it before you turn it in.
Then what about service?
Do you just disable the Flash mode on the Service day?
Sorry if this has been covered.
If you can get away with it, great...
