just leased a new A4 B7 2.0T ECU flash?
couple of quick questions regarding my new A4.
Ended up leasing a red, 2006 A4 Quattro for 1k down, 539/month for 24 months, 15k miles/year, 36k msrp, red w/ black leather, 6speed, sunroof, tech package w/ bluetooth, sport suspension, premium sound, satellite xm radio, cold weather package,and headlight washers. Couldnt really bargain much cause i just graduated from college and had minimal credit. IS this a good deal?
Also since it is a lease will i be able to do a ECU flash on this car without getting into warranty/servicing trouble? And how many miles should be on the car before its ECU is flashed? Right now the car has 9 miles on it.

break the car in before flashing...standard break in is 1k miles...
wait till at least till 2k miles to flash it...that way you'll appreciate the flash even more once you get accustomed to the stock power.

I leased mine in NY - 05.5 with an MSRP of 34,500. Light silver/Ebony, Premium, Cold, Quattro and manual trans. I didn't put more than six hundred down which included my 1st month and some DMV fees. My monthly payment for a 36 month lease w/15K a year is 486.
As for the APR ECU flash and break in...
Yes, 1000 miles is recommended for proper break in before using wide open throttle. Flashing the ECU prior won't matter as long as you don't BEAT it during the break in period

You can flash a car that is leased without getting in trouble? really?
C'mon...
Or, is it just you unflash it before you turn it in.
Then what about service?
Do you just disable the Flash mode on the Service day?

This is why buying used turbo cars is a bad idea...
People chip them, abuse them (possibly), and then turn them in at lease-end for the next unsuspecting buyer. Who knows what problems will await?
