Ready to order my A4...should I order XM or Sirius?

Ready to order my A4...should I order XM or Sirius?
I have XM in my TL since there was no choice. I know that Howard Stern is going to Sirius soon. Any other reason that one is better than the other?

my experience with both...
I have had both. I only listen to the rock/jazz/sports/news stations, so any other content beyond that you may want someone else's opinion.
You should look at the channel list for both and see if the type of music you listen to has a dedicated channel. For the most part Sirius and XM have the same type of channel listings. Only in a few cases did I ever notice a descrepancy(ie. Punk; XM was dedicated whereas sirius sprinklies punk on several channels).
In general, I wouldn't deferentiate between sirius and XM by the type of music you listen to. Instead, I would point out that the music "loops" are much longer on XM. Therefore, if you spend a lot of time in your car you may want to go with XM, so you don't hear the same songs all the time. However, if you don't spend too much time in your car you may want to go with Sirius, so you are not constantly channel searching for a song you like and want to listen to.
Also, you can go to satellite radio forums and see endless arguments about which service has better music, DJ, etc...

On XM I listen to stations that play music not heard on regular FM
Such as the 80's & 90's stations or stations dedicated to alternative music. However, our 2-year old twin daughters enjoy modern rap & hip hop music.

Sirius if you are a fan of Howard Stern
XM if you despise Howard Stern. Despite the fact that I prefer XM to Sirius (based on what I have heard about the two), I am going with Sirius due to being a huge fan of Howard Stern.
