Headlight washer problem

Headlight washer problem
I just moved up to Northern Virginia from FL and my TT is throwing a hissy. The car did sit out in the cold for almost a month while I was away.
I used the windshield washers the other night, now I have a washer indicator, no washer function. I did note that the aliens were out just a slight bit, but have resettled themselves into the bumper.
Fluid is full of factory juice. Have almost never used the pump. 2004 coupe with low miles.
Any thoughts? I do not have VAG, just an airbag and service reset tool. Thx in advance.
My Bentley manual is in storage, unavailable to me.
