What does this button do?
Hello,
I realized that I never used this button (see picture) and I can't figure out what it does. I cannot find any info in the manual. Any ideas?

Mine had no function since Ambient Light was OFF and Ambient Light Menu in MMI was off too (invisible). To turn menu on I had to go to the Hidden Menu and turn it on at two different places.

To access HIDDEN MENU you press SETUP + CAR and hold for a few seconds.
If you can't access it you have to enable access using VCDS.
Once in HIDDEN MENU (green) scroll to DIAG SETTINGS than APK 0X01,0X0B, 0X0C (whatever that means), than check INTERIOR LIGHTING and finally scroll all the way down and ACCEPT CHANGES.
At the end pres simultaneously Phone + main button + right front select button next to main button to reset MMI.
