Changing oil on the 08 for the first time this weekend..any

differences from the procedure for my old 04? I'm already dreading that f**king air filter disconnect and re-connect

First oil change on the car..? Or by yourself lol?
Anyways its the same as on the 04, miniscule differences; if any.

Isn't the oil filter up top on 2007 and later?

Actually heard this same thing on the other site which is great news seeing as I procrastinated last weekend. Well not really...I was cleaning up my new winter wheels.

Certainly on the 4.2tdi it is - just towards the rear in the centre in front of the power steering pump.

I have a 2007 with the air box out and I can not find the oil filter. I am going nuts here. I am about ready to look in the trunk and if I do not find it I am going to stay in the trunk and roll in a ball as a complete fail.
