ESP Dash Symbol - what VAG-Com controller to scan?

ESP Dash Symbol - what VAG-Com controller to scan?
I am looking at a 2001 Audi TT. It had a triangle symbol on when I drove it. I do have the shareware Vagcom software. When I scanned the 'engine' control module, I got a
coolant temp sensor
Lambda sensor
Now that I have researched this, it sounds like the triangle is the ESP light(please confirm). What control module should I scan in Vagcom?
03-ABS
22-AWD
Others? I don't think the shareware does the 'autoscan'. Also, I have seen some post with people stating they have 'lost awd'. How would I determine this.
