GAIC Tune and Questions
Just back from my local dealer to have a few minor issues addressed. Tech told me that this tune from GAIC works with the C7 3.0 T - -

He also told me that I could expect HP at the wheels to be over 400hp, and that fuel economy would be better than stock. And, he said this tune allows a full return to stock in a way that Audi won't know there have been any modifications. Yet another tech told me that every time they connect a vehicle to their system, it does a scan that is sent to Audi and that they CAN tell that the ECU has been changed, even if it is reset to stock.
So, I wonder if the B8 tune will work with our C7's? For those with experience with mods, what can we expect in terms of gas mileage and warranty issues?

Personally, I would wait until the tuner company specifically says the tune is for a 2012+ A6. Audi seems to tweak the ECU more and more often.
I wouldn't expect a reflash alone to result in a 25%+ increase in power.
Any time you modify for more power, you run the risk of being denied warranty repairs on the drivetrain.
