RS6 gearbox problems

RS6 gearbox problems
Hi, I have a 09 plate v10 beast.
recently, i have being having problems with the gearbox, going along then locks up in 2nd gear,
nothing works.
took car to dealer, they said that the gearbox is a "sealed unit" and the oil doesn't need to be changed, when gearbox cracked, oil came out black/burnt and black. Now they want to charge me
a lot of money (£500) to change oil.
HHmmm. I said that if the box is sealed then oil should be ok. so why should i be charged. Its an Audi problem.
Has anyone had of any experiences like this.

LOL, that is Audis way of saying 'yes, we recommend the oil to never be changed out, ever, but we will sell you a new transmission instead'.
There is no such thing as a 'lifetime' transmission oil...for any vehicle.
