Catalytic Converter - looking for help getting correct part

Back in 2002 I ordered a direct fit replacement for the passenger side which fit correctly but it has rusted from sitting idle. Now I ordered a replacement for an A6 FWD but it doesn't fit exact, for starters my A6 is OBDI and the new cat has two bung connector after which isn't too big an issue. The larger issue is the flange adapter after cat is like 2.5" but the new cat is 2.25". I was wondering if I should order one for a 94 100 because same engine OBDI.

Any help would be appreciated. Also, can anyone tell me the bolt size for the head to cat connection?

I would call FCP Euro..they are very helpful and have a good inventory

Looks like a Cat will cost $300/$400..they have been very good with fitment problems in the past.

Thanks for the info. I just pulled some old paperwork and found the previous part number I ordered by was AU1320-0 and after talking to DEC the only difference between the AU1320 and the AU1320-0 is the O2 sensor after cat.
