Bang & Olufsen Upgrade
Sup guys. I just bought a low mileage '12 Prestige with the B&O. Gotta say I'm a little disappointed with the quality and punch at high volume. Any suggestions? Also I was looking for the specs on the system and drivers, any ideas? What have you guys done to turn this system from good to awesome!?!

Second - add a subwoofer.

Be sure to play around with the settings, especially the surround and volume balancing in the DSP section (will obviously depend on which type of music you listen to). Just be lucky you don't have the Bose system.....

On my A6, I've found these to be best settings: the DSP surround focus to "Front", adjusting the balance graphic so it's centered slightly to the left of center and at the rear of the driver seat, surround level at 12 o'clock, bass at 4 o'clock and treble at 1 o'clock. Also, I rarely use a phone or iPod. The best dynamic range and frequency response is sourced by an SD card or files exported to the Jukebox with 256kbit AAC files from my iTunes library. The A7 may be different, of course, due to the car's rear configuration.

I'm headed to La Jolla Audio Monday to discuss adding a dedicated amp for a sub and to look at my midranges. The dash speaker crackles above volume 15. Still not super impressed with the B&O system. I bought the car low mileage so lucky I didn't pay for that option new. Thanks
