Bulletproof + Headup Display
I'm from Brazil, and I have a bulletproof 2012 s-line A7, as you may know, bulletproof cars are very very usual in some cities here in Brazil...
The thing is, all the windows is very thick...
So, my question is, the head up display appears double on the window, as it's reflection can be seen in the "two layers" of the window... On the inside layer and on the outside layer...
Anyone can think in some way to workaround this?
Some pics...
Thanks...
On a serious note, is that an aftermarket addition where they add a second layer of glass to the OEM windows? I wonder if there's a small film you can put where the HUD projects that will limit the reflection on to the second layer of glass...
Sorry, can't help much with that issue.. Stay safe

Yes, this is aftermarket...
All the windows are removed and the new ones are installed...
They do a completely tear down on the car to install the bulletproof overlay and the windows...
The film is a good idea, will try it...
Thanks...
You will have to find out from whoever makes the windshield if there is a HUD windshield available.
