Looks like detailing in the spring
I'm a newbie to real detailing so please be patient with the newbie questions. Until I found this forum I thought detailing was putting on a good coat of wax.
I've read a bunch of the posts here and it looks like I'm going to have to remove the dealer's wax, etc.before I detail it. Living in the Boston area means washing and such will have to wait till spring. Any recommendations on what I can do inside my garage without washing to protect the finish until then?
I've seen threads on ceramic and other treatments. How can you figure out the way to go with so many options?

If the dealer waxed the car on delivery you are fine until 30-60 days from now. Assuming you don't want to pay a professional with a garage to do it you could buy a waterless wash solution, but I'm not a fan of those. No matter how much lubricity they provide they will still put love marks in the paint.
If it were me I would sit tight until you can do a proper detail including clay bar, polish and wax/sealant.
