'08 4.2 Engine Speed Sensor location
I have the notorious Bank 1 cmp sensor(g40) /Engine speed sensor(G28) Fault. I replaced the cam sensor to no avail and purchased the crankshaft sensor but when I got it up on the lift, the location of where I was led to believe it was located, was blocked off. there's a hole there for the sensor and that's it. So, if there's anyone out there who can direct me to where they hid the engine speed sensor on this, I'd be very grateful if you might share the mystery. I read one search response saying it was on top of the transmission housing, not on the left side where I looked for it. Its a 4F58 engine, with 1 cam sensor on each bank.
