Anyone have the ECSTA MX?

Seems this is the highest-performance tire available in the sizes I need for the Elise.

Anybody have it?

Just wondering what I should expect.

Cross-shopped with Pilot Sport Cup, KDW2, PZero Corsa, etc.

Looked with Luke's help yesterday through what was available, it's the only one in these sizes.

I had them on the GTI

Very good tire for the money. Comparable to the S-03 I had before. I've heard that they're not as good in the wet as the S-03, but we see very little rain here in CO.

Should have specified...

... this is for a car that only sees fair-weather driving, gets driven once a week.

A little street driving & the occasional track event or autox.

MX should be fine. I'll buy them for my M Coupe when the Pilot Sports wear out.

i just bought them for the S, Im putting them on this coming week

from what Ive read, people are really happy with them.

I own 2 sets of MX's

I love them. Best bang for the buck.

Excellent dry traction, good wet traction. Ok passenger confort, but one draw back - They are pretty loud.

But nothing in MX's price range comes close to beating it's performance.
