Default Great Handling, one of the best for wear, outstanding value all around, only downside is

they have a decent amount of road noise. but comming from the POS Conti's I have now....not a problem at all.
One of the best bang for the buck out there, getting them on my RS4s

Default They're pretty much middle of the road. Ive had them on my B5 and they offer (more)...

Good handling in wet and dry. They are very quiet until they get some wear on them. People rave about them on the B5 forum. I would say it is a very comfortable tire as well. What it lacks in cornering stability, it makes up for in a comfortable ride. For ultimate performance, id go with a Kumho or Toyo of similar price range. If price is no object, than the Bridgestone So3s cannot be beaten. The ES100 is a nice comfortable tire, though.

Default As others have said, the major drawback is road noise..

..I've emailed several AWers with them and that was their only complaint. Some were ok with it.. others couldn't wait to take them off.

However, the deal that achtuning if offering is a good one.

Default I've got Yokohama AVS ES100 on my GLI and compared to....

the Pilot Sports and Kumho 712's i've had, they offer almost as good handling as the pilot sports, and much better feel over all than the Kumho's. As for road noise - ALL "V" shaped tread tires will get noisier over time as they wear - my Pilot Sports were very noisy towards the end of their life. I think they are a good tire for the money.

Default Counterpoint

I had dunlop 9000's and these seem pretty comprable. I didn't notice much different in noise or handling. I like both tires, and will probably get them again.

Default I've got them on my car...

Only had them for a week and so far I love them. They are only louder on rougher surfaces then the the stock Dunlops SP9000s were...but also they are lower profile (40 series vs 45 series) so that isnt really a fair comparrison. On smooth roads (freeway) they are just as quiet and actuall seem smoother.

Handling is great in my opinion, I have not been able to get them to make any sort of noise around hard turns, whereas I would hear the Dunlops scream every now and then.
