Winter Tires 08 RS4 Question
Thinking of using the stock rims with the 19" winter tires only one option available at tirerack. My question is how much in winter performance am I giving up going with 19" instead of 18" with 225. I just can not look at the 18 inch rim setup options for 5 months a year. Also are the winter packages at tirerack good to go just bolt right up or are there adaptors included in the sets?

I went with the Dunlop 3Ds in OEM size on OEM wheels and love them
I was amazed at the grip they provided.
Here in CO this year they were very good in ice and I never was surprised at losing grip in corners.

Crazy
I drove mine last winter and it was fine. But would not take it skiing or to the mountains with all the gravel on the road. The foothills here in CO we see sun 300 days a year and the roads are dry by the second day after a snow fall
