Default Audi Repair

I need to repair the bumper on my 2007 Audi A4. Does anyone know a good auto body shop and/or how much this will cost?

I have the same question.

My car (Audi A4) was rear ended at a stop light, and has *light* damage from the other car's license plate.

I need to decide whether to take it to Amatos Auto Body or Bumper Medic on Miramar Rd. in San Diego. Both plan to strip off all the paint, use heat to help reform the plastic, and then repaint. It is 2 tone paint.

I'd appreciate any feedback on the best place to have it repaired. The Amato's estimate was $775 and Bumper Medic was $450. Since the other party in the accident is paying, I'm not too concerned about the price, and would like it to be put back to original condition.

Amatos is generally well known, well regarded and listed on the Audi America web-site as certified. Bumper Medic has been in business for 9 years and was recommended by my independent auto Audi mechanic whom I trust. Also, Bumper Medic also says that they do some work for Mercedes Benz of San Diego, use PGP paint--and there shop seems to have quite a few German cars.

Why the big price difference? Hype or quality?
