I know this is way off topic but we are looking at purchasing a scooter now that we're here in San Diego. I had considered a used, refurbished Vespa but since I'm so 'non technical' I thought it might be too much hands on maintenance. I am looking now at a new LXV-150. Yesterday I walked in to a scooter shop nearby and they carry "The Buddy". Anyone familiar with these? Any impressions? Recommendations? The Vespa feels like the better choice but, of course, it's like $3000 more which I'll pay for the look, name and quality but any input is welcome!
