After 90 days in the B6

Things my '01 had that I miss:
1. auto-dimming rearview (don't know how I didn't get this on the new one)
2. 2 extra dash gauges; oil temp and volt
3. Chrome door-sil audi treatment (stock)
4. Lighter, quicker, more responsive & nimble

Things my '03 has that are plusses:
1. drawers under the front seats, comfy seat
2. more room
3. 17's
4. Sub in the rear deck
5. better shift linkage & clutch
6. rigid chassis

Minuses:
No tethered gas cap!
E-brake position worse
steering wheel, liked dimple one better

all in all, I negotiated/paid the same ($24,250 '01 new celebration vs $24,400 '03 new, lux unsold in Dec) on comparably equipped a4 1.8t FWD from Nalley. Gotta love that eoy sales drive!
Any other new generation owners feel the same?

...but all in all, the b6 feels like more of a more solid car than most b5s i've ridden in.

Guess, since you've got the 17s, that you opted for the Sport pkg.

don't need it in ATL, the concrete jungle. I'm not sold on the idea ofthe extra weight and money. might have a different opinion if we were in the snowbelt.
