What kinda tint do you guys have?
Guys, I have a 2002 black A4 w/tan interior. The legal tint here in ATL is 32%, however a coworker just got 32% on his VW and it looks too light even on a silver car. What level tint do you guys have? A picture would help too. Do get any flack from the cops?

I got Tinted yesterday
I went to HotSpot tinting in Marietta (at 'CarSpa' on Windy Hill Rd). I really like the end result and I highly recommend them.
I went with 20% 'Brilliant' film from Diamond. It has a very slight blueish hue to it (while their 'Radiant' film is the more popular one, with the charcoalish hue).
I know several other people in Ga with 20% and the only person who has gotten a fix-it ticket was pulled over for wreckless driving and noise violations and then <i>also</i> issued a ticket for tint. My brother has has 20% for 5 years and 0 tickets and sister has had it for 3. *edit* and my brother also had 20% mirror tint on his 87 Audi 5000 for a long time and never had a problem, even though he got pulled over a few times for speeding.

When I tinted my A4 and my sisters Jetta at the same time a few years ago, they did it at $190/car (I think the regular price was either 200 or 220 back then).

I got 35, the legal limit in NC, and it still reads 26-28 in some spots....
"they" (the places that did the inspection) say that the state allows a few points below, just not a lot. I would call around and confirm how much Ga allows, and then get the tint % closest to that. I forgot what brand mine is, but on a black car with black interior, it looks dark. On bitjockey's A4 with ecru interior, his 20% looks a bit lighter sometimes, that's just the way it is.
