C5 a6 geaebox help!
Hi lads need a bit of help, I have a c5 a6 with a pd130 awx engine in it and I need a new replacement 5 speed gearbox, I've searched high and low in the Irish market and can't find another a6 for breaking at all, but I've seen alot of b6 a4's with the same pd130 5 speed awx engine so my question is this, would a 5 speed box out of a b6 a4 that has the same pd130 awx engine fit into the a6 I own? Like straight plug and play? Or are mounts different etc? This has been wrecking my head as I've never gotten an answer to this question and I need my car back as quick as possible as its my daily, any help will be much appreciated
