Poor regeneration of DPF
I have a question about exhaust temperatures on audi a4 allroad b8 2.0 tdi 140kw.
On car are 4 exhaust temp. sensor before turbo, after turbo, before DPF and after DPF. Should the temperature of the sensors go down from pre turbo to the after DPF?
The problem is,that the car need wery long to do the regeneration now ,(from around 25km befor to around 100km now).
In regenaration cycle the temp. of pre DPF sensor go over 600deg wery hard and go just for 1 or 2km. and then fall fast back down to normal driving temp.
Can be the reason for this problem the foulty pre turbo temp. sensor?
I find out that the pre turbo temp. sensor in normal driving show down to 95deg.or go up to max. 300deg. and all other three sensors looking normal around 400deg.
1. Picture show the grapf of regenaration cycl of around 80km of driving.
In graph are 1. temp of pre dpf sensor, 2. soot mass calculated and 3. the soot mass measured.
2. Picture show the normal driving temp of exhaus sistem.
the 1. looks suspicious.
