I've had my 2015 A7 for about a year and finally decided to get a sim card for data connection. I got a freedompop $0.99 deal for 200MB free per month. i've scoured the threads and find some issues close to my problem but still can't find a solution. I cannot get the data connection to work. There are strength bars and 3G, but won't connect. I've used the AT&T APN that was posted before and left the other fields blank with a space. Just not sure what the deal is, maybe I need to update MMI firmware? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
I recently did this in my 2016 a4. I used the apn from freedompop instead with no user or password. Everything worked. I did have to put the apn twice as it didn’t take the first time.
