Default Portable GPS

Got a portable GPS device for Christmas. I actually received 2 because the person didn't know which one to buy and I have to pick one. They are the TomTom ONE, and the Garmin streetpiolet c330. I need some help deciding which one to keep and which to return. I did some research online, it seems like the Garmin is more reliable but the TomTom has better features.

Thanks.

TomTom, I believe, uses TeleAtlas maps. If you are in the US/Canada, Navteq maps in Garmin might be better... You'll have to decide if extra features in TomTom are worth it...

I got the c340 for Christmas. I was told to get Garmin over TomTom, due to maps.

I have the Tom-Tom: great interface and form factor; horrible maps (for North America). Stick with the NAVTEQ units like Garmin.

Having said that, Tom-Tom (Tele Atlas) just anounced a major update of their maps, so who knows.
