Default Upgrading 2004 allroad for Bluetooth

Thanks for launching this forum. I've been trying to find out whether I can upgrade my 2004 allroad but no one, including the dealer, has been able to help.

In addition to the Telematics package (OnStar) my allroad is prewired for telephone, which I never installed. I'm wondering whether I can now add a Bluetooth system (OEM or aftermarket) to fully integrate with the built-in mike, head unit, multi-function wheel, etc.

Thanks again. I'll post soon with my next question: What happens to our Telematics when OnStar goes all digital in 2007?

If you already have phone installed, you already have the cradle and the phone and should be able to use hands free why would you need bluetooth?

Bluetooth won't integrate with your stock stereo like it does with the RNS-E Navigation unit.

Default No phone installed, I'd like to upgrade to Bluetooth.

My allroad is prepped for the phone but I never installed it. I'd like to install Bluetooth instead and am wondering about upgrade options. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Check these guys out. Made a kit for my B5 S4 that was plug and play, exactly what you are looking for. Might be able to do something similar with yours, but not sure if they support your allroad.

http://www.caughtbluehanded.com/</a

Default if you have the onstar, you can swap it for bluetooth.

Check www.nsxjr.com for more info.
