Verizon Razor and Bluetooth Caller ID Question??
so i have a verizon razor with the bluetooth connection in my brand new a3 . when people call, the number they are calling from shows up in the dash but the name assocatied with that number in the phone does not. i was wondering if that's because i have multiple numbers programed under the same name is the phone? If i give every number its own name in the phone will the name AND number show up on the dash??
Thanks....

RAZR address book and BT are lousy
I talked to Moto tech support about this on my RAZR CDMA from VZW.
The previous RAZRs had Moto's old address book UI - each entry needed a different name: "Bill's cell", "Bill's work".
The CDMA RAZR has a UI on the HANDSET that looks like a SonyEricsson UI - "Bill", followed by a work, home, or cell icon.
The icon tag info does not come out the Bluetooth connection, per Moto. It works the same as the GMS RAZR phones.
If you pair your phone with a Parrot kit, you get "Bill 5035551212" "Bill 5035551313" "Bill 5035551414" and it's almost impossible to tell between them.
You do have to re-program the entire phone with independent entries for each number.
Or ditch the RAZR and get a CDMA BlackBerry 7130e. Better batt life and great email, and the tags DO come through.

Since we're on the topic....
Newb question:
I'm getting a Verizon RAZR in a couple days and would like to hook it up in my B6 S4. What will I need? And where do I get it? I see the plug in in the arm rest...
Also, would I have to pair my phone up everytime I get in the car? I rode in my buddies TL and he has to go through this whole setup everytime! Talk about sucks!

You will need the bluetooth module...
Which requires either the RNS-E navigation system, or the symphony 2 with multifunction steering wheel.
No, you don't have to pair the phone everytime... as long as you set your phone to pair automatically with the "Audi handsfree device".

I still can't get it to work. Do you have a NAV system?
i've tried giving every number it's own entry but that didn't solve the problem. Still just the number on the dash. i don't have the nav system (not sure if that matters). i'm dying here though b/c i really want this to work.
Any suggestions?
