Default Anyone know a good body shop in north Houston?

I just bought a CPO A6 and I would like to get some of the minor clear coat swirls and scratches out. Does anyone have recommendations to good body shops on the north side of houston? Please let me know, thank you.

Default Why not do it yourself?

For the price it would cost to have a body shop do it, you could buy a Porter Cable and do it yourself. Perhaps you could practice on someone else's old car until you feel you got the hang of it? Then you will get the detailing bug.

Default Don't trust myself, would like to learn though

I have thought of that I just don't have anyone to either learn from or a spare car to experiment on. As a result I would like to have a body shop do it, especially one that would let me watch them do it so I can learn how.

Default If you can wait till I move down there (Feb 9th) I'll show you how, and you can practice on mine

before tackling your own.

That sounds like it might be a good option, what part of Houston are you moving to?

Default Depending on where you are

There's a place called Carwash Time in The Woodlands (On Woodlands Parkway at Kuykendahl). Its owned/run by a friend of mine, and they do an excellent job on detailing at would be great for your needs. He regularly does Ferrari's, Bentley's, Merc's, etc, so he's used to dealing with quality paint jobs.

let me know if you're interested.<ul><li><a href="http://www.carwashtime.com">Clicky</a></li></ul>

I'll be in the Spring area. Not sure where I'll be working yet, though.
