Need a little help...tint recc's in Houston. I know, tired old question...
My parents are moving from PA down to Houston (west/northwest suburbs). If I was down there I'd find someone personally, but I'm relying on someone here to point me in the right direction. My personal bias is Llumar tint...mostly because it's a name I know and trust, and that's what I have on the S4.
I'm STFA, and I found a few recommendations, but most of these shops have no websites, just a phone number. Very few of the posts I've found mention price or brand of tint used.
So please...if you have a shop you trust, please post the name, address, contact info or website, price and brand of tint. Thanks a lot guys!

I asked the same question and was happy with the result - Master's on Hwy 6
They did my A4 and I sent a friend there with a Honda CR-V.
Both did great jobs, both metallic tint although I don't remember the brand.
On Fri. night I had someone break my window and the tint held together amazingly well- it was still in one piece.
I paid around $200, friend paid about the same.

Westside Auto Glass/Applied Window Film
If the Katy Freeway widening project hasn't impacted them, they're at 11020 Old Katy Rd Houston, TX (on the west side), phone: 713-465-1332. Llumar. I use Platinum 28% on the sides and backs, but technically that's 7% too dark on the front windows.

2nd applied window films. I got their llumar semi-metallic 23% film
which, with factory solar tint, technically makes it illegal but they gave me a 20% cert sticker anyway. they did a good job, iirc it was $150 for all five windows.

Yup...still $150.
My father called over the weekend. He said he got it done for $150 at Applied Window Film. Side windows look great, however there are milky bubbles all over the rear window. I told him to give it a week, and the bubbles should gradually shrink as the glue dries. I'm really hoping that's the case...otherwise he might have to go back for a re-do. We'll see...

Last update...
The glue on the rear window dried over the course of a week, leaving behind zero bubbles. Dad is pretty happy with the work...so two thumbs up to Applied Window Film and another thanks to LCP for a great recommendation!
