The Rear differential is going back into my car today.
New boots on the axles. The outer joints have two boots.
Audisport uses safety wire and safety bolts on the side differential housing. The differential flanges use 3 9mm drift pins and 3 external 12pt bolts instead of the 6 internal 12pts on stock Audis. They do this for speed, strength and bolts that don't foul from the dirt.
I had to give up on machining the axle flange because the metal is extremely hard. Two 9mm Cobalt bits ruined. The axle flanges machined easily.
