With apoligies to Verne Troyer,I found an independent shop in S.F. north bay to accomplish the service, and it's really nice to have the TT at 100% again. The biggest issue(and most of the $$$)went into replacing the window motor-at least it's been stuck in the up position or it would have happened sooner.
Although the battery wasn't marked for year into service, it might have been the original, and it failed the battery test, so out it went and a MT-47 Interstate is in there-more CCA is good.I had the brake fluid flush and change, too
so I'm ready for another 50!
I'm still contemplating a REVO for my very first MOD, and are there Cal. smog issues involved? TIA and THROTTLE UP!!!

Default GET THAT THING CHIPPED!

Yes, it's smog legal. Revo, APR, GIAC, whatever - just get it done. Once you do, you WILL wonder what took you so long!

If you're worried about smog tests, consider APR, you can switch to stock program easily.

Well, easily is relative. The APR turnstalk program switch is pretty nice.

Default Actually in Sonoma (Infineonland) "should" or should not have?

There's a REVO dist. in Berkeley-probably my next step to answer those questions and stop that "contemplating" stuff...
