Default Are the "stretch" bolts for the dogbone really unreusable?

I am having a hard time finding a local source for them that I can get today or tomorrow, even after calling about 8 VW and Audi dealers. Any other ideas in the Los Angeles area?

Or can I just reuse the same bolts?

Reuse them for short term... replace later.

I seriously could have spent $3000 on "stretch" VW hardware on my cars thus far...

Default Thanks All. Considering there are NONE of these bolts in all of Southern Cali, I'll be reusing them.

Stretch Bolts? Stretch this...

That can make the whole front end fall off if you're not careful

Default They only stretch once. Good luck when it fractures and/or suffers a loss of it's holding power...

Don't be a fool and put your car, you, or others at risk. You could have ordered these on-line today and had them for the weekend.

That's some serious liability if anything goes wrong in the hands of the new owner.
