Default *edit* OUCH! My TT may never be the same!

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/88983/driv.jpg"></center><p>
I had an *encounter* with a couple of orange and white barrels on I-75 tonight.

There doesn't seem to be any dents, but the whole front end (hood included) as well as the driver's door will need to be painted. I also need a new driver side rear view mirror.

I'm not that upset since it could have been a whole lot worse. And I'm getting an alignment just to be safe.

DAMN DOT and their infinite construction.

Default Nope, a good detail shop could buff that out for you. Only use insurance as

a very last resort. I had a time where we had 3 bad things happen to us in a year of which none were our fault and 2 were natural disaster things. Insurance company cancelled even though no claims in 20 years.

So, if you can pay without any real hardship, don't even call them. Insurance companies have caller ID and will even note an anoymous call I have heard.

Default OK, so most of that did buff out with clay bar, but now I feel worse...

Before I clay barred it, there was the possibility of a new paint job and a shiny new pristine car. Now I just have a scratched up paint job with half my clear coat gone.

Default take it to a body shop....if you don't believe me.... practice spraying some clearcoat on>>

a fender from the junkyard.... not quite as easy as it looks in the Haynes body repair manual.
