2002 TT Quattro wont start at random times

hey all
wondering all you car gurus out there can provide some knowledge on my issue.
random times my car wont start, this only happens when ive been driving for a while, so assuming the car is hot, the car wont start, ill keep trying over and over and random times it will start within 40min of trying and waiting.
its not the battery, its not the starter...
spark plugs or fuel pump?
any advice would be great, thanks all

Had the same issue with my 2002 225 tt and it was the cranks shaft position sensor needed to be replaced.

I put a jump pack on the battery and then it fires right up, and it will continually start afterwords then randomly it will stop. Is it still the crankshaft position sensor?
