Default 225 GIAC chip spiking pretty bad up to 25 psi at times - this normal?

Trish got her car chipped a little bit ago and the car hauls *** but spikes a lot. I'm not sure how it is supposed to act but it seems as though 25psi spiking is a little much. It settles at 19-20psi and holds BTW. There are no other mods because she is stilll under warranty. I figure once the warranty is threw we're going to install an MBC to control the spikes as i did on my car and worked great. Any thoughts from other GIAC users?

Default A boost machine from ModShack will smooth it out. You can remove it in under

5 minutes for dealer trips, if needed.

Default id rather not touch the mechanics till she's out. This dealer will VOID your warranty if

a silicon hose wasnt factory. I'd just like to know if anyone else has this issue without a boostmachine/MBC

Default I peak to 1.7 bar and the car never complains - I have a couple of mods IF >>>

it drives the way you like it, then enjoy - don't worry

Can't they see that the car's PSI was outside of normal limits through VAG or whatever.

Weird, I just had the GIAC flash and my car spikes as high as 22psi in 1st, 2nd and 3rd and maybe 4th. But in 5th and 6th I only seem to spike to around 18-19 and settle at around 16-17. I don't know if the flashes differ for years. I have the 91 program on a 2003 225TTCQ.

Everybody worries about warranty, rarely do you hear about a real issue - don't worry, be happy ;-P
