5,000 mile checkup today. Dealer says mods totally my call: yes/no....lease or no lease.

Denny, I'm curious whether or not you broached the subject of "partial mods"...in other words, getting the under-car mods but not having the spoiler installed.

I hope your baby's "5000-miler" didn't bring any surprises! Congrats...I'm *almost* at the 1500-mile point, and I'll take *my* baby in for a voluntary oil change at 2500 (and I'll have my electronic gremlins checked out at that time as well).

Can take both, either or none. His opinion was to take none unless I was in the habit of driving 135 mph all the time. He said if it was his car, he'd only take the spoiler, because he likes the spoiler. I said, "yuck." Only problem I'd had was the round aluminum **** on the driver's side door handle falling off. He ordered a new one. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. Aside from that, my only problem in 5,000 miles was the clock resetting itself once. Reset it; it's never happened again. Good luck with your baby.

I agree with you about the spoiler...no way I'll have it put on *my* TT, while *I'm* the owner at least! Haven't yet decided about the other mods, though. At least I'm not forced to make a decision ASAP. I have to admit that I'm *tempted* to leave my 180Q "as is".
