it is a ballast and bulb upgrade>>>
that supposedly increases performance by the draw in amps is actually lower.....
My initial thoughts were skeptical but the numbers provided make it interesting...combined with a lifetime warranty.....we shall see....
I can always go back to OEM....

Yup... i remember that someone here did a HID upgrade with higher ballast wattage but that was long
time ago and the price was a little high. for 160 you can't complaint. you have the brand? i want to do some research on them.

4300 or so Bill....so it is a bit whiter, but not much....>>>
there are slight variations on the colors from OEM of a few hundred degrees from what i have read depending on years....
I am sure my bulbs are getting tired as they are OEM, plus i am getting old too.....Damn Mercedes has spoiled me with their optics on my wifes car, they are gorgeous!! ;-)
Never been a fan of the TT lighting as it always seemed to be poorer than other Audi models...this is mostly due to the fact the lenses are based on an early BMW design that was used....while it was good for the time, by todays standards, they are marginal....
Hopefully, this fixes my want for better lighting...
Stay tuned...
