8N0 906 018 L for 225amu bt setup?

So, I have a 2001 Audi TT 225 AMU engine code with a 6speed manual transmission and was wondering what the compatability of putting a 8N0 906 018 L Ecu in it from a 2001 Audi TT 180 5-speed manual. Is there any reason why this Ecu won’t work for as the wideband donor? Is there an issue regarding the different transmission?
Thank you in advanced if you have any info, I couldn’t find much about this Ecu online.

Installing a 180 HP engine ECU in a car with a 225 HP engine is unwise. Timing is different, You could melt pistons for example. The engine won't run right.I don't think it could be programmed to even run the engine as the VIN will be incompatible. Are you asking because of the cost of a proper ECU?
