Sorry, I just need to vent a little. I've had a really bad Independence Day weekend. I have a friend who happens to be the father of two of my best friends who died of cancer on Monday while I was visiting my girlfriend. Then, I found out after I booked plane tickets home that one of my very best friends of the last ten years committed suicide on saturday, so I changed my bookings and rushed home to make the memorial service today.

If any of you are thinking of killing yourselves, let me tell you something from experience. This is the second friend I've had kill himself -- the first from hanging and this one from a car wreck. Please have mercy on those who care for you, and do not do it. Talk with someone or get help. Ok, so you won't be miserable anymore, but I promise that if you talk to someone, you will get out of your slump, and you won't wreck the lives of your loved ones and family.

And I agree with what you say completely...I forget where I heard this from, but I believe it to be true: "suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem."
