listen you fools get the same engine with just about the same weight as the A4, granted you probably get more chicks, but just from a guy stand point, it is much more economical to get an A4 and have the extra room to actually store stuff than the TT.
So the point being the A4 is a much better buy than the TT simply because it is cheaper and has more room. price difference? it is 6 grand more for the coupe version and 12 grand more for the convertible, which translates to at least 2-3 HUNDRED more a month in payments. for a car that's basically same weight and same engine, you do the math!

Woah...
who ever said a TT is better than an A4? Besides its a different car, everyone has different taste in cars, if you think the A4 is such a better 'value' of a car, why don't you just buy yourself a Jetta 1.8T? it IS the same engine, even in the same 'family' of cars, its even MORE 'affordable' and it has the same body chasis as the A4 AND would save you even MORE. Would you get yourself a Jetta? just because it's a better value? don't get me wrong, Volkswagon makes great cars and the Jetta being one of them.
Anyways, I don't know what you're trying to start here, but I can't believe I have to poste this message. I only thought everyone here is a car enthusiast, and would like to discuss their knowledge about their cars and share ideas, not to compare who's better or who's not. Just my 2 Cents.<p>Blue/Blue 180QC w/Performance package/Bose/MKII suspension/Madico Chrome tint (50%/35%)/Piaa Bulbs/Growing list

Did anyone say bitter????
Someone may need to do their homework as the 1.8 in the TT 225 is a much more refined version (better bottom end on the block) than the base 1.8 amongst otherthings.
Not to mention the overall look. Had the A4, great car no doubt, but the TT I can love.
As long as someone is not mortgaging their kids or personal future, who cares about the money! Have some fun and live!
VIVA LA TT!!!!!
