Default Acceleration Question:

When I accelerate on 1st till about 4,500 or so, and shift to 2nd and give it gass, the car really seems to pull and throw me back.
Now, when I floor it in 1st and take it up to 6,500 or so and quick shift it into 2nd... the 2nd doesn't seem to throw me back and accelerate as hard as it did when I switched from 1st at 4k.
Any idea why that may be? Could it be that when I switch at that high rpm that the next gear is not getting/holding as much boost? Dont' know... but it drives me nuts when I try to race people! When I just toy around it is great, but when I actually gun it my car seems to loose the umfff. Again, any ideas? TIA

don't shift at 6500....you lose a lot above 5500 or so.

Default Max torques is 2200-5500 rpm (1.8T)

Shifting outside those limits means you're giving away milliseconds and power.

Default Shift out of first before 5500 RPM no need to go above 5900 in any other gears.

Unless you are chipped.

Default You need the torque curves 'for' the chip

Just increasing your shift point is no guarantee that you're getting more torque. Physics rules.
