I removed the front seat with the battery connected and now have the air bag light on. In searching the forum it looks like my only options are taking it to a mechanic or using an air bag reset tool. I don't really want to buy any single purpose tools that I am likely to never need again so...
-is there any other way to reset the light, i.e. some combination of pulling fuses, disconnecting the battery, disconnecting the seat again...?
-anyone near Baltimore have a reset tool that I could rent for 2 minutes?
