Default Airbag light won't go off...

after starting the car. What could be the problem? The only thing I can did was folded and move the front seats to get the the back when doing the window tint. Sounds funny, but could it be some connections underderneath broke lose

Please help. Thanks.

Default Search the archive there are a number of different reasons for the light to come on

I had a very similar circumstance. I was looking for a lost item, fishing around under the passenger seat (fairly gently) and soon after the light came on.

I did a VAG-COM scan. As I recall it said that there had been an intermittant problem. I reset it and haven't seen it come on again.

Default You can only reset codes with VAG-com or the like... AutoZone can do it for you.

They'll check the codes for free and I have heard from some that they will also reset.

Default If you remove the seats; i.e., unplug the connectors under the seat(s)

that will trigger it. Even when you plug it back in, the light will stay on. Like others have been saying, only way to reset it, is with VAG-COM.

People with VAG-COM in your area

Default So I went to autozone but the guy said...

they check the code for you ONLY when the "check engine" light is on??
