Default Airbag saga...

When it snowed heavily 2 weeks ago, I took the car out...brakes fluid felt heavy and thick...and pressed a little too hard on the brakes (car jerked slightly) and the airbag light goes on. Turns out, its a $549 part (airbag controller module).

Took it to DCH Audi today...I complained to them that its a safety issue (as per Danny at KMD's suggestion)...it was replaced for free. I just have to make a call to AoA to make a complaint so that they get credit.

Seems that any safety related issues can be covered for the life of the car...if you speak up. just a FYI.

Default exactly. just like my fuel gauge and wacky temp gauge. the dealer

said seatbelts and airbag related items are fully covered even if not written.
