Default Airbag warning signs
Just picked up my silver/black TT. Has anyone removed the airbag warning signs (they stick out like a sore thumb) from the sunshields without damaging them?

Default Yep

Pulled them right off...came off without a mark. Do it really quickly like you are pulling a bandaid off when you know it will hurt. Refreshing after a Maxima where they were permanently sewn in. Den

Really easy, just like Denny described. I pulled them off 4 weeks after I got the TT and no sticky residue marred the textile.
Corto out-

Same as others have posted, even in Florida summer heat. I pulled mine off slowly, and the glue residue is barely noticeable. I haven't tried to clean it off yet, but I'm sure it will come off, too!
Now what about that windshield sticker on the passenger side? I tried to pull mine off yesterday and it is really stuck there.

Goo-Gone works great at removing glue residue, if any remains. Koo

A graphic arts product called "Bestine" is the recommended solvent for removing window stickers and their adhesive from glass surfaces, using paper towels to apply this solvent. Do NOT use on fabrics, such as any adhesive residue from the sun visor stickers. Keep your doors open for ventilation while using "Bestine"; it's nasty stuff, but does the trick!

Default Ivan, use common nail polish remover - for glass surfaces, never on painted ones! (nt)

Default For window stickers, I use a razor blade to take off the plastic film, then ordinary paint thinner to dissolve the glue.(nt)
