Default Am I the first/only ALMS owner to have a bad instrument cluster?...

thought my fuel gauge problems were because of faulty fuel sending unit, but at 20K service, dealer said it was the cluster.

Have to go back in a couple weeks to replace.

Don't remember any other ALMS owner reporting this.

...and yippe no Dealer Damage!, and Haldex WAS done.

Default damn french...actually love em' but clusters by 'french' are for embroidering only...

actually, the french are great...just being stupid like the content of the media..do I think like that NO...look at saab..like they reinvented the turbo...it goes to show you...the world is way more complex...than me...and my opinions...and it's not about clusters or cluster bombs... or coilpacks....it's about groovy....and you may be the first groovy (ALMs) to lose a dash...but maybe the ALMs production dug deep into 2002s inventory....anyone?

Default actually I believe all dashes are same part as 2000's.....

one thing nice about german manufacturers is consistency with many parts especially lights and body panels unlike american and japanese that are changed annually. May mean costs can be kept down over the years for replacement parts.

Default sheesh....my key repeat rate...blah....

good point..period rather..but , i am sure you're not the first to notice..politics..sorry but...elipsee..is me...

..think about it...forums are constructive thought and to a large degree different fron email, mail, and even chat that's more unstructured...and to be honest, I'm not as structured as the rest...but the TT is in me...and I respect the rest...who know the 'email rule's...and adhere for their own reasons...that is valued..are we still adhering to the rules of e-mail and prose...but do you question my values...or the values of others for these rules or is it just a question of the unrulely...judge or be judged?

are we offended then I will change, because I am political...or am I taking a stand for something different. Is it email?...NO....mail?...NO...chat?..NO...who knows?...maybe grammar? maybe just me...

no offense to you because you have brought this up...but I am trying to assimilate my conversation with you.....

...and thanks...

period.

Default Re: Am I the first/only ALMS owner to have a bad instrument cluster?...

I don't have an ALMS, I've got a '02 225 cpe that only has 7,000 miles on it and I just had it in to get the cluster replaced because of a faulty fuel guage.
