Default Another lake silver night shot...

I'm starting to get used to these "action" night shots. Next time I'll try to wait a second before turning on my lights, so the car is a little more clear. So close...

Default Now I would LOVE to know how to grab a shot like that!

Would be amazing to get some good shots like that. I have a tripod and a G2 possible?

Default Liked your first shot also......

I think that's really neat. Saved your first shot from a while back and this one too. What do you do? Run down and jump in your car and blast away.

Default Here is what I did...

Set up tripod on a small hill w/ a wide angle lens. With my lights off. I set the camera on a 30 second exposure somewhere around F 2.3. THen I Hit the shutter and turn on a small flashlight(actually 4 small super-white LED's) & flash my car a few times. Run. Get in car. Drop the e-brake and coast forward one car length(this is what I should have done, but I turned my parking lights on too soon therefore ruining my car shoot)Now just drive around the corner before the shutter closes then turn aroung & come back, hopefuly your camera will still be there.

Nice. I think it would be cooler if it was the other way around. (front shot with trailing lights)
