Antenna Installation--Details inside

Nice write up! I accidentally knock off my cell antennae during the winter
and also lost my AM reception w/ a mettalic tint.
I also could not find the zender unit that TTSSchwing used. This will be a nice replacement.
1 Question. Where can I tap into a switched power source on a stock car (Yours not being stock due to the amp).

Switched Power tap
You'll have to go to the back of the OEM headunit for headunit-switched-power. This should not be too hard. Look at Jeff Bipes oft posted diagram and tap into "Remote Amp Sw. On" identified on the bottom of the schematic, or you could use "Switched +12V" shown on top of the schematic.<ul><li><a href="http://jbipes.home.attbi.com/ttr/hu.html">Jeff Bipes Schematic</a></li></ul>
