Default Any California peeps with the APR 91?

After months of exhaustive research, I've decided to have the APR 91 installed tomorrow. Then, just last night I read some questionable posts on this 91 octane program. Can anyone offer their opinions/experiences? If APR is claiming the program to achieve 257 HP (an additional 32 HP over stock), how can some claim that it is barely noticeable? That seems like a significant improvement to me. TIA.
>oh, and did anyone in Nor Cal have theirs installed at New Dimensions?

Default I have apr 91 on my 180 in CA.....

very nice boost to mid range torque and allows you to accellerate better without a downshift, which is what I desire in a street car. I realize Brad posed a question yesterday regarding "supposed claims" to not much difference. Seemed like just conversation to me and without concrete examples with a particular car, chip, date of program etc.... Brad at one time tried a Neuspeed which didn't do much for him. That said APR has many satisfied users here with both 225 and 180hp cars.

I've installed an exhaust as well and the combination is a nice reasonably priced upgrade for the car.

Default I'm in Cali with a APR chipped 225

I love it! It's not totally life altering like a stgIII upgrade but it is a substantial difference. There are some other mods that compliment the chip such as exhaust, DV, and Samco hoses. I haven't had any problems with it and if you plan on going stgIII why not stay with APR. I highly recommend it.

Default ND should have some deals this weekend.

during their big annual show. I won't be there, but I'm going up for the better half of the drive.

Default I have the 225 APR 91 and New Dimensions installed it...

I wouldn't go so far as to say the increase is barely noticeable, but it's not like increasing power from 150 to 200hp with the A4 chip. How do I know? I have that chip too, in my '00 A4 1.8TQ.

Nonetheless, still worth it...
